Alpha was awarded the contract by WASA for the provision of Engineering Services for the South West Tobago Project.

The scope of works included:
  • Condition assessments and design reviews of all existing facilities including Golden Grove/ Bon Accord WSP and Milford Court/ Coral Gardens WWTP and related Lift Stations.
  • Data reviews, including all flow rates and effluent quality for the existing WSPs and WWTPs and design components of sewerage systems and lift stations.
  • Determination of upgrades required for the Golden Grove/Bon Accord WSPs and Milford Court/ Coral Gardens WWTPs. 
  • Determination and implementation of additional site investigations inclusive of Cadastral/ Topographical Surveys, Geotechnical Investigations, Influent/ Effluent Sample Analyses and Structural Analyses of Existing WWTP Plant.
  • Detailed engineering designs for all components of the proposed wastewater system.
  • Preparation of application for Certificate of Environmental Clearance.
  • Location and determination of owners for the lands to be acquired.
  • Preparation of Tender Packages inclusive of Scope of Works, Conditions of Contract, Technical Specifications Bills of Quantities, Final Design Drawings and Engineer’s Estimates.
