Alpha was engaged by CCA Limited to develop engineering designs associated with site and building drainage as well as rainwater management and best management practices, required for the mitigation of adverse impacts to the adjacent beach and sea during the construction and post construction phase of the project.

The scope of work included:
- 15 Acre Hotel hillside at Godhal Bay beach development project for mitigation against erosion, flooding and contamination of the sea (surface water runoff quality improvement);
- Golf course drainage and villa MP10 project involving the diversion and flood attenuation of a large catchment of runoff and mitigation measures through existing wetland and artificial detention ponds;
- Catchment analysis and development of IWM (Integrated Water Management) techniques and SUDs (sustainable urban development) principles in the Mahault catchment to improve runoff yield in a 200 acre catchment to improve capability of the existing main water reservoir on the island.
